A firm foundation

Hi Everyone,
Sharing another page from my pre-school class at church.  I like to make pages about what we did in class so that the kids can look back through the book and remember fun times.  Sometimes older kids who have moved up will flip through the book and see themselves.  Maybe it makes them feel like part of the whole? I don't know, but I think its nice to have the book in the room and it also helps me to remember what lessons I've done and with whom.  This was the lesson of the wise builders.  We made Lincoln log houses on a wrinkly towel for our 'sandy' soil and I read them the story from Matthew 7:24.  I think they liked the idea and we talked about how it applies to us as people.
The page uses some really fun downloads called "life is good" from Quirky Heart.  I bought it from a site called the Lilypad.
There is a bundle for this collection for $8.99 or you can choose just a few parts, like maybe the alphabet or the papers.  I bought the whole thing, I love the look and I know I will use it.
here is a link
The Lilypad has specials on Wednesday's and new releases on Friday's  as well as a 'build your own collection' at the beginning of each month, so check the site out, its full of great downloads.

Thanks for stopping by!
