Chess with Grandpa!

Hi Everyone!  I haven't posted a page in such a while!! I was happy to have some time this week to use my My Memories Software again!  I do miss making my pages!  I had a busy March as I tried out for being a Stampin' Up! Display stamper for their On Stage event. Then when I made it, I had to make the projects for the Display boards in April, on top of my regular stamping classes and kid stuff, Teacher Appreciation and 8th grade graduation.  Whew!   My poor digital scrapbooking got put on the back burner.   The new Stampin' Up! catalog came out and I was busy getting ready for that and pulling retired products to sell and making new projects for the kick off!  And now I am trying out for the next Stampin' Up! stamper opportunity so it all begins again.  I was not feeling well great last night and my husband was out, so it was the perfect time to sit with my computer and make a page.  I used a new kit that I bought from the Lilypad last week called Walton, by Lynn Greiveson.  So pretty! and there are lots of embellishments.

Love the kit and I think it paired really nicely with my photo.

First Day of First Grade

My little Jillian is growing so fast.  It feels weird to have her gone all day now that she started first grade.
I was able to snap a few photos from the first day. I felt really self conscious about it too because I didn't see other parents taking pictures, but oh well, I wanted my photos!!  :)













I used a kit that I bought a few weeks ago anticipating some back to school pages coming!  It is called Hello School by Sabrina Dupre Designs.  You can find it here at the Lilypad.

Lucky Day

Hello everyone.  I have a cute page today of  my son Zachary.  He found a four leaf clover while playing in the yard and he was just so happy.  He came running into the house shouting "MOM, MOM!" and I was worried something bad happened but his smile assured me this was not the case.  We pressed the clover in a book and will check it in a few weeks, maybe we will make it into a book mark. 

Here is the sketch. My page was super simple because it was a template from My Digital Studio, but since that is no longer available I created a simple sketch page for you to follow.

Sleepy little monsters

Hi Digi scrappers. I have another page to share with you.  This page is of my little cuties after a long day of Halloween fun.  They were giggling and being silly on the way home from trick or treating at grandma and grandpa's.  Just before they had fun at Zachary's preschool class party.  Jillian got to go to the party to since I was the room mom and needed to be there.  There are only 7 kids in his class so it was not a big deal to add Jillian to the mix.  All off a sudden it got really quiet and I looked in the rear view mirror I saw them sound asleep, Zachary still wearing some plastic fangs he got while trick or treating.  When I pulled into the driveway I had to snap a few pictures before getting them out of the car.  Too cute!!
