Hi Everyone! I haven't posted a page in such a while!! I was happy to have some time this week to use my My Memories Software again! I do miss making my pages! I had a busy March as I tried out for being a Stampin' Up! Display stamper for their On Stage event. Then when I made it, I had to make the projects for the Display boards in April, on top of my regular stamping classes and kid stuff, Teacher Appreciation and 8th grade graduation. Whew! My poor digital scrapbooking got put on the back burner. The new Stampin' Up! catalog came out and I was busy getting ready for that and pulling retired products to sell and making new projects for the kick off! And now I am trying out for the next Stampin' Up! stamper opportunity so it all begins again. I was not feeling well great last night and my husband was out, so it was the perfect time to sit with my computer and make a page. I used a new kit that I bought from the Lilypad last week called Walton, by Lynn Greiveson. So pretty! and there are lots of embellishments.

Love the kit and I think it paired really nicely with my photo.
Hope you like the page!

A pretty mess
This page is pretty messy. Sequins and flowers everywhere! And that is just what my dinning room table looked like after our crafty time, so I figured it was perfect!
I found a fun kit by Lauren Grier at Sweet shoppe Design. It is called #happy and it has so many fun happy elements!
Here is my sketch. Its a fun one when you have a lot of photos. Think of the other possibilities besides flowers. Have a beach page to do? use some waves or fishies instead of sequins and flowers. Or leaves for a fall page, snowflakes for a winter page, you get the idea.
Here is the #happy kit I used. You can get it here.
It was on sale a while ago for $4.79 but I am not sure how long that sale is on. Regular price is $7.99 which I think is still a good deal, there are 18 papers and a ton of embellishments. Perfect for my Happy little daughter!

First Recital ~ Fun chalkboard frames
An easy way to make your page into a two-page spread is to "insert a duplicate page". You can see this option at the top editing bar in both MDS and MMS. You can insert a mirrored page as I did for my pages, or you can insert an exact duplicate. Then you can change the pictures in the frames and move things around as you like. This way you don't have to recreate your embellishments and all the backgrounds.
Here is the sketch...Here is the frame collection.
It was $3.99
I thought this was an interesting way to use the frames. You could print them out onto paper and use them in fun ways like art journaling or cards. I see some framed cards in my near future!

Always Expect Something Amazing!
Hello Everyone. I have a fun little page to share today. Sometimes you just have one picture to scrap and maybe its a bit basic or not ever super great but you want to remember the moment anyway. In my photo Jillian is not even looking at the camera and the building and sidewalk are sort of ugly, but Jillian was really happy that the peacock walked up to her. This was the only photo that worked, so even though it is not the best, I wanted to make it into a page for her scrapbook. I decided to keep it simple with some fun doodle hearts and sequins, a doodle frame around the page, it sort of looks like something Jillian would make actually. I found some really fun doodle elements at THIS SITE. and HERE. The sequin scatter and hearts are from #happy.
Here is the sketch...
I hope you will find some inspiration from my page. I would love to see one of your pages. You can share on my Facebook page.
